Chairman (Group MD)
Stuart Fox graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a B.A. (hons.) Degree in Economics and Geography in 1994, before joining Citicorp in Dublin later that year. Stuart worked in Agency Treasury Management gaining promotion to manager in 1998 specialising in foreign exchange hedging. He left the bank later that year and moved to Jersey where he joined JJ Fox International Limited, becoming its company secretary in 2000, a Director of the Board in 2001, and it’s Group Managing Director in 2007. He chairs the boards of all the subsidiary companies in the Fox Group.
Philip Taylor joined the Fox Group in 1999 after 16 years with Cadbury Schweppes. He was appointed Managing Director of J.J. Fox Trading Limited in 2009. Philip has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and was appointed a Chartered Director in 2006. Philip has led a number of acquisitions with the objective of further diversifying the Trading Group.
Finance Director / Company Secretary
Jimmy McCormack graduated from Athlone Regional Technical College in 1993 with a Diploma in Accounting, and furthered his studies to qualify as a Chartered Institute Management Accountant the following year. Jimmy worked in the public Sector for both the North Eastern Health Board & Meath County Council, before relocating to Jersey in 1998. He worked in the Jersey Finance Industry as a Client Accountant for HSBC Private Bank for two years, before accepting a Management Accountant role with the JJ Fox Group. Jimmy was appointed Financial Controller & Company Secretary after a group restructure in 2003, and became Finance Director of JJ Fox Trading Limited in June 2008.
Paul Sands achieved a B.Sc.(Hons.) 1st. Class degree in Engineering Production from Birmingham University in 1971 and began his career with Cadbury Schweppes PLC in that year, advancing through the management structure rapidly before being appointed to the Board of Cadbury Typhoo Ltd in 1983. In 1986 the directors of Cadbury Typhoo successfully completed a management buy-out of the Company from its parent, Cadbury Schweppes PLC the largest buy-out in the UK at the time. The new private company was called Premier Brands Limited and the majority of the equity was owned by its directors. In 1989 Premier Brands was sold to Hillsdown Holdings PLC. Paul retired from Hillsdown in 1990 and moved to Jersey in 1992 where he has been Director, Secretary, adviser and administrator of his own private investment company since. Paul became a non-executive Director of Fox Trading Limited in 2009.
